
Albert Cetester Ransom Jr., 47, of Blue Springs Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3rd at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Albert was born April 24, 1970 in Poughkeepsie, New York, the son of Albert and Lucile (Lyons) Ransom. He worked as a project manager for G4S Solutions for many years and served in the US Army for 17 years, where he achieved the rank of E5-SGT. Albert served during Desert Storm and traveled all over the world during his military career. He was a selfless and dedicated man with a big heart. Albert loved to travel and continued to do so with his family after leaving the Army. He took his family on many trips throughout the US and will be deeply missed.
Albert is survived by his parents; his significant other, Jennifer Murphy and two children, Isabelle and Danielle of Blue Springs; two children: Robert Ransom & his wife Kayla and Annjalena Jackson-Clarke & her husband David of Lenexa, KS; two grandsons: Tristan and David Clarke; two sisters: Teiqua McRae and Michelle Ransom of Pleasant Valley, NY; six brothers: Ernie Ransom, Brian Ransom, Leskaria Ransom, Albert Cetester Ransom, Adam Ransom, and Alex Ransom; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Retia K. Ransom.
