Alec William Engle, 29, of Lone Jack, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4th 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Alec was born October 30, 1992 in Sacramento, California. The son of John Engle and Stacey Travis. He was a 2011 Blue Springs South Graduate. After high school Alec joined the Fire Sprinklers Union Local 314. He worked as a Foreman for American Fire until he couldn’t anymore. The outdoors was his happy place. Alec loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He loved his dog, Maggie, very much. Alec was a very kind, polite and selfless soul. He could always be counted on and would help anyone, at any time. He was very handy and knowledgeable and could fix anything himself. He loved his vehicles, Polaris RZR, 4-wheelers and loved going fast.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Heath Engle; and maternal great-grandmother, Ella Yount.
Alec is survived by his father, John Engle of Blue Springs, MO; mother, Stacey and stepfather Buzz Travis of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Alyse Engle of Kansas City, MO; paternal grandmother, Hong Engle of Honolulu HI; maternal grandparents: Paul and Janice Bundy of Buckner, MO;
