Anthony “Tony” Michael Ladd was born August 6, 1975. He left all his pain behind when he passed from this earth surrounded by those he loved on August 3, 2024. He was greeted in heaven by his mother Deborah Ladd, his brother Benny Ladd, his nephews Sebastian Ladd and Colten Sause. He is survived by his daughters; Alyson Ladd (Levi) and Aaliyah Ladd (Damian), two sons; Brendon Meyerkorth and Connor Meyerkorth, two brothers; Eric Ladd and Jesse Ladd, two sisters; Vanessa Ladd and Amy Sause, one perfect grandson; Oran Cole Ladd, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Tony loved big. He loved his KC sports teams but none more than the Kansas City Chiefs. He never missed a red Friday and the chance to spread the sea of red. If you were within a 5-mile radius of him during a game, then you heard the shouts. He loved the Atlanta Braves. We don’t know why but he did! He loved his friends. He always had time for a chat, a smile, and a hug. He was always there when you needed him. He was always down for an adventure. Yes, Tony loved big. More than anything in this world, he loved his family. Above all, including tickets to a million Chiefs games, he loved his girls and his grandson Oran. He never missed a chance to spend time with them. He would drop anything to do whatever Oran wanted to do. Oran and Peepaw were the best of friends. We will all miss his smile, his laugh, his tall tales, and his friendship. We will cry when we need to, smile when something reminds us of him, and always remember the countless memories we shared.
