B.B. “Jerry” Robinette, 92, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 4th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5th in Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Jerry was born April 17, 1924, in Odessa, Missouri, the son of Joseph and Gertrude (Bernard) Robinette. He owned and operated Robinette Cleaners. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, woodworking, and coaching Little League baseball.
Jerry was preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Dean Robinette in 1943; his wife, Emilie in 1996; and one great-granddaughter, Macie Jo Hawkins in 2011. He is also the last of 14 brothers and sisters.
His survivors include two daughters, Beverly Booker of Napoleon, MO, and Connie Andes (Cliff) of Oak Grove; one son, Bevel D. Robinette of Warsaw, MO; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
