Barbara Allen Vanderpool, 82, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Barbara lived a life rooted in community and friendship. She was very active in the VFW and in many churches throughout the years, giving her time and presence generously. She found great joy in line dancing and treasured the time she spent with her friends. Barbara also loved to travel, enjoying trips across the United States and the experiences each journey brought.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Minerva Demaree; husband, Jack Vanderpool; and brother, Marvin Reeves.
Barbara is survived by her daughters: Donna Vanderpool and Terry (Rolland) Saye; son, Jack Vanderpool, Jr. (Laurie Parker); and grandchild, Seth Morgan (Riley) Saye.
