Bernie is one of those people who even when they are gone, are still here, alive in the hearts of the lives he touched. You can be sure that Bernie will be missed but never forgotten. The love and laughter he brought gave us great memories. But even more significant, he made our lives better by being a part of them. Thanks for sharing him with us. If there is ever anything we can do for you, just ask. If we can’t do it we will find someone who can. There are a lot of Murray lovers out here. And Bernie has already paid it forward. ~ Ellen (Vera) Jones

So kind, generous, humble, devoted, funny, and strong. He was solid, like a rock, yet so light and humorous. His laughter was awesome and pure. He never minded laughing at himself; such a good soul. He loved, loved, loved his family (and who wouldn’t, you guys are awesome). I have so many memories at the Murray house in Cleveland to treasure like, Lowbucks, snow sledding down the front yard into the fence, and just hanging out talking, eating and of course laughing. He will be missed and my heart and love goes out to all of you. He was incredible, and although he will never be replaced, he does live on thru his children and grandchildren. What a true legacy he has left. Mark and I love you all and you are in our minds and hearts. ~ Tamara Dickson

We didn’t see Bernie very often maybe once or twice a year but, whenever we saw him he always had a smile on his face and was one who was always ready to tease. He was a super nice guy and lived a Christian life witnessing for God and was very proud of his family. We will miss seeing that smiling face. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! ~ Rex and Corinne Barnes, Galena, MO

I’m thankful for Bible college days, where I loved sitting next to Terry & Bernie. Bernie will be missed on this earth. Prayers for his family, Sue (Hinkle) Roberson
