Betty Ann Hayes, 90, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  Services will be held on Monday, June 26^th at Grace United Methodist Church, Oak Grove Campus, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and funeral at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Sni Valley Fire Department, the Laurie Fire Department, or to Grace United Methodist Church.

Betty was born March 31, 1933, in Oak Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Glen and Merle (Nield) Buzzard.  She was a bookkeeper at Lake City and was active in the Methodist Church Ladies Groups in Oak Grove and Gravois Mills.  Betty was a member of the Eastern Star in Oak Grove, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Oak Grove and Laurie, the Gravois Mills Fire Department Bucketts, the Gravois Mills Division of the Coast Guard, and the Newcomers Group in Laurie.  She was also an avid golfer and a member of the Rolling Hills Golf Course.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leroy; and sister Belita Sperry.

Her survivors include three children: Cyndi Hampton (Jon) of Oak Grove, Rod Hayes (Dru) of Laurie, and Sandi Lance (Clarence) of Oak Grove; twelve grandchildren: Jennifer, Jerry, Lori, Travis, Bobby, Kim, Chris, Andy, Mindy, Jim, Jamie, and Cord; nine great-grandchildren: Mikayla, Layne, Ashlyn, Jonathan, Taten, Michael, Anniston, Jacob, and Sam; two sisters: Barbara Lefholz and Beverly Watt; and many nieces and nephews.
