Bettye K. Miller, 93, passed in peace on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Shangri-La Rehab and Living Center, Blue Springs, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25^th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.

Bettye was born on June 4, 1925, in White Cloud, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Marie (Polcyn) Confer.  She lived in Atchison, Kansas City, Bates City, and Oak Grove.  Bettye married Eugene Miller on October 14, 1961.  She worked at Ricemor Coat Co. and Union 76 Truckstop as a bookkeeper, and later spent her time babysitting.

Bettye is survived by daughters, Kathy Sell and Rod, and Emma “Mimi” Wolf; son, David “Bucky” Miller; six grandchildren: Nitashia and Thomas Negrete, Matthew and Kaylee Miller, and Stephen and Amanda Sell; three great-grandchildren: Nicholas McCullum, Haley Collier, and Jackson Dillon; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, and sister.

Bettye, from all your family and friends – we thank you for your selfless service, mentorship, and compassion, and we look forward to the day when we will see you again in Heaven.  Congratulations on a life well lived – and welcome home!
