Beverly J. Kulik, 92, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Oak Grove, Missouri. Beverly was born May 30, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri. The daughter of Thomas Faye and Anna Belle (Hall) Shadwick. She and her husband Stanley were united in marriage August 5, 1950. Beverly moved to Grain Valley in 1997. She was a member of St. Stanistaus until it closed, and Our Lady of Peace. Beverly was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Oak Grove. She did volunteer work as well. Beverly took a course at Laubach Way in reading in adult basic education. She tutored in the G.E.D adult program and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital at the information desk. Her most loved volunteer service was at the Bishop Sullivan Center for more than 25 years. Beverly served an apprenticeship and was a member of Graphic Communications International Union from 1960 to 1983. She worked in the bindery of several printing companies in the Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas areas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Beverly is survived by daughter Joyce Kulik of Lee’s Summit, MO; son Stan Kulik (Mari) of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Sandi Cahill of Lenexa, KS; daughter Jan Wood (Randy) of Grain Valley, MO; 5 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Thursby.

19 Jan 2024Beverly was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She was like her mother to me. Always such a happy positive person. Ready to help and always an encouraging word. She was a very special precious lady. We’re going to miss her down on earth. But there is rejoicing in heaven.
