Brandon Todd Carlton, 43, of Independence, MO passed away June 30, 2022. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO.

Brandon was born October 2, 1978 in Kansas City, MO. After graduation, Brandon went to work for Ford Motor CO. he loved fishing, music and sports. Brandon also enjoyed tinkering on computers.

Brandon is survived by his son Foster Carlton and his mother Shannon Titus both of Independence, MO; parents: Dwight & Deanie Carlton of Independence, MO; sister: Tonya Freeman (Gregg) of Lee’s Summit, MO; brother: Leon Carlton (Stacie) of Blue Springs, MO; uncles: Doug Carlton (Jane), Bruce Carlton (Deanna), Jim Carlton (Bev); aunt: Christine Crabtree (Dallas); nephews: John Travers (Kenzie), Nate and Noah Carlton; niece: Josie Carter (Donavan); great-nephews: Jaxon Travers, Quincy Carter; 2 great-nieces: Teagan Travers and Kobi Carter.

  7. Brandon was a very friendly young man. I really enjoyed having him in my class when he was just a cute 10 yr old!
    I I remember the last time I saw him when he was out walking in the neighborhood with his dog. I will be thinking of his family at this difficult time- prayers that you will find comfort in the fond memories Brandon left with us.

  8. Brandon was a great friend in HS. We hung out a lot at his house and him driving me around. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to his family.
