Bryan Allen Johnson, 27, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oak Grove Boy Scout Troop 266 or Paradise Outfitters Ministries.
Bryan was born December 31, 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Gregory A. and Tamala D. Johnson. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2007 and was an Eagle Scout in the Oak Grove Boy Scout Troop 266. Bryan worked at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant and was a member of Paradise Outfitter Ministries in Oak Grove. Bryan enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He loved his dog “Biggie” and putting smiles on other people’s faces.
His survivors include his parents, Greg & Tammy Johnson of Blue Springs, MO; two brothers: Brandon (Halston) Johnson of Fort Riley, KS, and Ben (Michelle) Johnson of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Brooke (Chris) Plumb of Blue Springs; maternal grandparents, Gary & Linda Hawk of Oak Grove, MO; paternal grandparents: David & Darlene Johnson of Blue Springs; maternal great-grandmother, Doris Lyons of Moberly, MO; one niece, Athena Plumb; aunts, uncles, & other family members; and many many friends.
