Carl “Ed” Edwin Bogart, 75, of Independence, MO passed away March 31, 2022. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO.
Ed was born March 14, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Carl & Illene (Ireland). He married Ruth Ann Inman on April 4, 1997. Ed enjoyed throwing darts and bowling. He was on the Queen City mixed doubles Bowling league. Ed was a Chiefs, Royals and NASCAR fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Ed retired from Hallmark Cards in 1997.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents: Carl & Illene Bogart; 1 son: Jeffery Bogart and 1 brother: Bob Bogart.
Ed is survived by his wife Ruth Ann of the home; 3 children: Kimberly Conn (Christopher) of Fredericksburg, VA, Angela Henderson (David) of Calico Rock, AR, Jennifer Bogart of Sugar Creek, MO; 6 grandchildren: Justin Hale of Phoenix, AZ, Aiden and Grayson Conn of Fredericksburg, Dalton and Tanner Henderson of Calico, AR, Karrston Bogart of Sugar Creek, MO; 5 great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Briar, Canyon Hale of Phoenix, AZ, Amelia, Maiah Conn of Fredericksburg, VA; 1 sister: Carlene Cullinane (David) of Kearney, MO.
