Charlotte “Florene” Adams, 93, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Lone Jack Cemetery, Lone Jack, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27th at the funeral home. Florene was born on August 21, 1926, in Lone Jack, MO, the daughter of John and Eula (Bynum) Wilkinson. She retired from Armco Steel after many years of employment. Florene was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her husband Dale in 2008.
Her survivors include daughter, Virginia McPeek (Michael); three grandchildren: Robert Hockett (Christel), Steven Hockett (Rochelle), and Shannon McPeek-McDuff (Fred); four great-grandchildren: Rachel, Reagan, Brett, and Wyatt; and three great-great-grandchildren: Kaeden, Kameron, and Mason.
