Christopher Lee Katzer, 57, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at St. Jude Catholic Church, with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and memorial at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon, also at the church.
Christopher was born December 21, 1964, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Jerome M. and Faye (Croan) Katzer. He loved NASCAR, the Chiefs, fishing, and mudding. He was always there for his family and was very soft-hearted.
Christopher’s survivors include his daughter, Rachel Katzer (Jay Hall); his son, Ryan Katzer; grandsons, Braiden Katzer, Steven Katzer, Arlyngtyn Hall, and Jynsyn Hall; granddaughter, Rayvyn Hall; siblings, Angela Katzer (Tony), Joe Katzer, Charlene Evans (David), and Pat Katzer (Amy); his best friend, Tim Barnhill; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
