We attended Grace Baptist Church with Howard. We always sat next to each other. We looked forward to seeing him, his smiling face and great handshake as well as warm hugs. I always thought of Brenda as tough on the outside & soft hearted on the inside. She was quick witted & had everyone laughing with her spot on remarks. I will miss her dearly…may God wrap his arms around you & pour his love into your soul! Fly high & watch over us to keep us in your heart as well.

Losing Cindy is like losing a member of your family. She had a big heart. Made an indelible mark on many kids she taught and guided over the years. The world has lost one of the good ones. While we have not been in contact these last few years, I was surprised by her leaving us so soon. When we did see each other it was like time had never passed. Her same laugh and quick smile for all. Just never think it’s going to happen. With losing her the memories come flooding back. We had such fun times growing up in GV. My heart goes out to Dennis, Kelcy, Katie, Jim. May your own great memories help comfort you. God Bless you all

There are no words that can begin to describe how amazing Mrs. Vanarsdall was as a teachers. I was lucky enough to have her as my PE teacher in the 1980s. I’m so sorry to hear this news but I have no doubt she is in Heaven. She changed hundreds, probably thousands of kids life’s for the better including mine. Prayer for your family and friends during this time.
