Curtis D. Ford


Curtis Dean Ford, 61, of Independence MO. Passed away April 10, 2023.

He was born December 13, 1961 to Robert and Joanne Ford. 

Curtis graduated from Fort Osage High school in 1980 after he graduated, he joined the Millwrights Local 1529 as a Journeyman. In 1988, Curtis married Sandie LaDue and they share a daughter Whitney Morgan Ford born in 1989. Curtis was the kind of man that would give the people who he loved the shirt off his back. He was hardworking in his career and wouldn’t miss a day of work even when sick. He loved his family and longtime friends. He especially loved his daughter, two grandchildren, and his mother. He had an unrivaled sense of humor, and the best Three Stooges impression in the world. He loved the Chiefs, hunting, fishing, and old John Wayne movies. He was one of a kind and he was irreplaceable. His daughter thought he hung the moon, and now her world is darker having lost him. He will be greatly missed and forever treasured by those who loved him.

He is survived in death by Daughter Whitney Ford, Granddaughter Auden Zink, Grandson Sid Zink, Two Brothers Mikey Ford and Bryan Ford, Niece Michaela (Ford) Smith and Two Stepsons who he loved and helped raised like his own Dustin Johnson and Travis Johnson.

He was proceeded in death by Brother Raymond Ford, and Parents Robert Ford and Joanne Ford.

Cremation-no service.
