Daniel J. Coleman

Daniel James Coleman, 71 years old, passed away on Monday, July 4th, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

Daniel (Dan) was born on July 3rd, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to James Coleman and Anna Coleman (Pischitelli), where he grew up alongside his four sisters. After graduating high school, Dan joined the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam era. Dan was a small business owner in Warrensburg, Missouri, where he had many friends and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and golfing.

Dan is survived by his wife, Stephanie Coleman, two children, Daniel Coleman and Meredith Coleman, and five grandchildren.

    My Dad is going to be missed terribly. I hope I never forget his voice, or the look in his eye when he was saying something witty. I love him dearly and did my best to let him know it.

    I always strived to make him proud,

    I appreciate everything my father taught me. Like him, I love to fish, tell a great “dad joke”, make friends easily, and wear my heart on my sleeve.
    I will miss him every day.

    Prayers for his family and a fun son-in-law. May God bless his dear wife and two great children that loved and cared for him until he was called to his heavenly home. He was a Vietnam vet that loved his country and helped to keep America safe. May he now rest in peace. Mother B.

    So sorry to hear this news. Steve and I shared a lot of time together with Dan and had a lot of fun with him and Stephanie. Rest in peace.
