Dannie left an imprint on many of our hearts. Son of Derhl & Marjorie Chaney, Dannie was born in Pittsburg, Missouri and was one of 8 children. He grew up in Harrisonville, Missouri, graduating high school in 1967. He recently relocated to Grain Valley with long-time companion, Sherry Ballow.
Dannie was a loving father and friend who would lend a listening ear and give the best advise when asked. He loved to pull your leg and had the best sense of humor. He enjoyed a warm summer day, deep conversations, little adventures, time with his pets, Thanksgiving dinner and celebrating the 4th of July with lots of fireworks.
He had a kind soul and an adventurous spirit. He was an eager participant in any wild idea, creative and loved to build, and could beat some of the best at a game of pool.
Dannie was a dreamer. No matter what obstacles laid in front of him, he always had dreams and goals.
Survived by beloved daughters, Tonya Chaney, Dana Tahboub & husband Shareef, Darla Keller & husband John. Grandchildren, Cole, Mackenzie, Hudson, Emersyn, Laith and Ramzey. Brothers Larry & wife Billie, Lennie & companion Christine Orr, sisters Janey Finehart & husband Doyle, and Ann. Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Proceeded in passing by his parents Derhl & Marjorie Chaney, two brothers Derhl Max and Garry, sister Derletta & husband Bill Martin.
