Dr. Darrel Duane Robertson, 81, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg, MO. Services will be held Friday, November 17th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. and funeral at 12:00 p.m., followed by a committal service at 2:00 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg.
Darrel was born October 14, 1936, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Kirt and Lena (Masovero) Robertson. He practiced medicine for 32 years at Blue Springs Medical Center. He loved farming, being a doctor, and especially his family.
His survivors include his wife, Carol Robertson of the home; son, Richard Dean Robertson (Deann) of Blue Springs; two daughters: Gina Lesh (Garey) and Jamie Wallace (Kenneth), all of Blue Springs; sister, Glenda Danella (Andy) of Pleasant Hill, MO; five grandchildren: Sara Pernice (Mike) of Kansas City, Michael Riddle, Sean Robertson, Lauren Robertson, and Kori Webster, all of Blue Springs; and three great-grandchildren: Alice & Lilian Pernice, and Kameron Moore.
