Dennis Ray Rothove passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 69, in his hometown of Odessa, Missouri. Dennis was born in Kansas City, Missouri and met the love of his life, Carolyn Jester in 1983. Dennis was a hardworking, self-employed carpenter his whole life in the KC metro area and he and Carolyn called Odessa home the last 20 years.
Family was the center of Dennis’ life, and he was always happiest being around family. He loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, tinkering in the garage on various projects, tending to his wide range of animals (bunnies, birds, dogs, chickens, pigs…and the list goes on), or just relaxing outside with family and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marcella Rothove. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; son Jason Rothove and his wife Carrie; granddaughter, Haley; grandson, Carson; brother Butch [Lisa] Rothove; brother, James [Melodi] Rothove; and sister, Cheryl Michael. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of which he loved and touched deeply.
