Donald Ray Chouteau, 76, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Elm Spring Baptist Church Building Fund, 567 NW 1601st Road, Kingsville, MO 64061.
Donald was born August 25, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William and Helen (Odette) Chouteau. He owned and operated a home windows and siding business. Donald loved hunting quail and was involved in the National Shoot to Retrieve Association. He also enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and spending time at Lake Taneycomo. In 2012, Donald was baptized at First Baptist Church of Bates City. He was currently a member of Elm Spring Baptist Church in Kingsville.
Donald’s survivors include his wife of 37 years, Vicki Chouteau; his daughter, Jodi Chisam (Russ); granddaughter, Cora Chisam; two brothers, James Chouteau and Kenneth Chouteau; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Larry Chouteau and Charles Chouteau.
