Elizabeth Ann Nichols 48 of Napoleon, MO passed away on Friday June 26, 2015 at Village House Hospice in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born in Brownsville Texas daughter of Carlos Jr and Graciela (Rangel) Gamez.
Elizabeth graduated from Gladys Porter High school in Brownsville, and then continued her education in business and the culinary arts at Texas State Technical College in Harlingen. She assisted in teaching religion classes at Christ the King church in Brownsville, where she was also a longtime member.
She was preceded in death by her father Carlos Gamez Jr. She is survived by her husband of 19 years Jeffrey Nichols of Napoleon, MO; her mother Graciela Gamez; three brothers Richard Gamez of Round Rock, TX Charlie Gamez of Temple, TX and Eliseo Gamez of San Antonio; four sisters Margie Shepard Houston, TX, Leticia Gamez of Round Rock, TX Suzana Gamez Vazquez of Mexico and Mary Jane Martinez of Pflugerville, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth will be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life service on Friday, July 3rd at 12:00pm with a luncheon following at The Church of Santa Fe located at 213 South Sibley St Buckner, MO 64016.
