Georgia Rae Masten passed on July 11, 2022, in Independence, MO.  She was 86 years and 10 months of age, born on September 11, 1935, to Thora (White) and Cecil Monroe Oskins in Oak Grove, MO.   Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Oskins, and four sisters, Ruth Carty, Mary Ann Woods, Rosie Hootz, and Ida Mae Meyerdirk.

Georgia married Stuart C. Masten on May 16, 1981, and he preceded her in death.  Georgia was a homemaker and worked occasionally outside the home in retail and nursing homes.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She served in the Army from November 1955 to October 1956 at Fort McClellan, Alabama.  In her younger days she enjoyed camping, country music, TV, reading, and quilting.  She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Rod) Doolen of Patterson, MO and two grandchildren: Chad (Hanna) Doolen of Glen Allen, MO and Kendy Doolen of Denver, CO.  Also surviving are one sister, Bonnie Sue Jones of Springfield, MO, and close family friend, Joe Johnson of Independence, MO.

Any donations should be to the Oak Grove Cemetery.
