Haily Nichole Hayes age 19 of Oak Grove MO was granted her angel wings on January 17, 2016. Haily passed away at her college home at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville MO. Haily was majoring in Business Management at Northwest, she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. Haily graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2015. Haily was employed at Home Depot in Blue Springs at the time of her death.
Haily was born September 19th 1996 at the Independence Regional Hospital in Independence MO, to Niki Hayes and Steve Hanner. Haily was known by her family and friends to be smart, beautiful, caring and sassy. Haily was just an overall amazing young woman and our beautiful treasure from heaven.
Haily is survived by her parents Niki Hayes and Junior Szudarski of Oak Grove MO and Steve and Amy Hanner of Grain Valley MO, 4 siblings Dylan Szudarski, Blayze Hanner ,Dakota Hanner and Skyler Hanner, maternal grandparents Bill Hayes of Grain Valley Mo and Kathy Schaller of Oak Grove Mo, paternal grandparents Linda Beresford of Cowansville Quebec and Steve Hanner Sr of Excelsior Springs, maternal great grandma Leta Barnhill of Buckner Mo, Aunts and Uncles include Jeremy and Katie Cramer of Oak Grove Mo, Robert Hanner of Blue Springs Mo, Chris Jury of Raymore Mo, Jaden Hayes of Blue Springs Mo, Brandon and Nicole Logan of Grain Valley Mo, Kimberley Logan of Grain Valley Mo, Bob and Ida Barnhill of Oak Grove Mo, Destiny Hanner of Kearney Mo, John and Mickey Szudarski of Harrisonville Mo, Christina Mitchell of Warrensburg Mo, Bill Barnhill of Warrensburg Mo, Cousins include Kailyn and Lainey Cramer, Iris Jury, Addie and EJ Logan, Rihannon , Maizey and Taylor Szudarski, Aaron Mitchell, Shawn Gallagher, Ashley, Micky, Tyler and Lily Kropp, Caleb Barnhill, Shey-Anne Greco, Heidi Barnhill, Damon Barnhill.
Haily was preceded in death by her grandpa Tom Schaller, Great Grandpa CH Barnhill “Great White Bear”, Shirley Barnhill.
Haily’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her will make sure lives on forever.
Services will be held on January 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove Mo from 10am -1pm. The family will be have a Celebration of Life at Side Pockets in Blue Springs Mo following services. The family is asking in lieu of flowers you make donations to Kathy Schaller or Steve Hanner for a scholarship fund for Haily’s siblings.
