Jacqueline J. Torres

Jacqueline “Jackie” Jo Torres, 67, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021. A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5th at Royer Funeral Home, 100 Royer Lane, Grain Valley, Missouri 64029.

“My mother was the best…period. She taught me so much, I’ve never met such a beautiful soul as the one that belonged to my momma. She was a peacekeeper, a gentle and kind-hearted person who did everything she could to make a person feel welcome, both in her home and in her heart. I’ll miss talks with her most, her time never too valuable to speak with me about my problems or make me feel better about myself, she always dropped everything when I came over just to chat. I wish I had gotten to sing for her more often. She was and will forever be my best friend. She was the hostess with the mostess if you know what I mean. She threw the greatest gatherings and always had a smile on her face. She may have been quiet, but my mom knew how to make her voice heard, especially with my dad, lol. I’ll miss her dearly, she was my rock, I love you momma, rest in peace, you’re my guardian angel now. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and daughter.” -Linds

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. In my ten years working for OWCP, Jackie was always willing to help. You never heard her say “that’s not my job”. She wore so many hats and her knowledge, positive attitude, and willingness to help will be missed. My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.

  2. Rest in peace Jackie. We came a long way since 11/11/1991 when we met as trainees & sat in the storage room “training room” @ DOL. See? I used the & sign and @ sign you graciously taught me how to find on the keyboard & make in writing after I told you I couldn’t type. Ciao my friend.

  3. Stay true to your faith. You’ll see her again permanently.
    God please comfort this family.
