Jacqueline “Jacki” R. Craig, 74, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28th at the Grace United Methodist Church – Oak Grove Campus; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. Contributions may be made to the church or to the Purple Peace Foundation.
Jacki was born March 3, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Holace and Hazel (Allee) Gulick. She married Charles “Chuck” Craig on September 22, 1967. Jacki had a love of dance and singing from an early age and participated in entertaining at USO shows and on American Bandstand. She retired in 2003 as an Office Manager for the IRS. Jacki was a member of the Girl Scouts and served as a Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 43 years, and Grace United Methodist Church – Oak Grove Campus. Jacki enjoyed taking pictures and looking at photos. She loved going to the family lake house and taking trips to Disney. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Jacki was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Chuck in 2008; her sister Cathy Keller in 2010; and a granddaughter, Amanda Brady in 2011.
Her survivors include two daughters: Ronda Craig of Oak Grove, and Holly Brady (Mark) of Oak Grove; stepdaughter, Kimberly Robbins of Haysville, KS; three grandchildren: Hilary Brady of Oak Grove, Emily Craig & fiancé Robert Berry of Oak Grove, and Abby Brady of Oak Grove; and three step-grandchildren: Joshua Knox, Christopher Knox, and Lindsay Knox, all of Kansas.
