James Howard Ditto, 78, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Saint Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m.; Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Royer Funeral Home Grain Valley, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Blue Springs Christian Church Building Fund; 7920 South 7 Highway, Blue Springs, MO 64015.
James was born November 24, 1931 in Bells, TN to Hubert Newton and Lou Etta (Ham) Ditto. He served our country in the United States Air Force, was a member of the VFW, the Eagles Lodge in Bellevue, NE and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Hubert and Lou Etta Ditto, and one sister; Lavern Steele.
His survivors include his wife; Norma of the home, one son; David Ditto of Blue Springs, MO, two daughters; Deborah Schuster and Denise Kimball both of Bellevue, NE, one stepdaughter; Carol Ann Mc Devitt and husband Glenn of Independence, MO, one stepson; Ton Page and wife Page of Council Bluff, IA, 6 grandchildren; Bradley Schuster of Denver, CO, Marty Schuster of Fort Collins, CO, Tony Schuster of Denver, CO, Amanda Kimball, Tara Kimball, and Bailey Kimball all of Bellevue, NE, 2 step grandchildren; Amanda Johnson and Becca Page both of Council Bluffs, IA, 2 great grandchildren; Makayla Strode and Brooklyn Strode, 2 brothers; Leroy Ditto of Florida, and Robert Ditto of Nevada, and one sister; Nell Ray of Mississippi.
