James Lee Jessee, 71, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Village House in Lee’s Summit, MO. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 16th at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
Jim was born January 31, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lee and Myrette (Miller) Jessee. He retired from Oak Grove Public Works.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers. His survivors include his wife, Joyce Jessee of the home; two sons, Michael Jessee (Lisa Bennett) of Grain Valley, MO, and James Jessee of Bates City, MO; daughter, Myrette Jessee of Odessa, MO; one sister, Martha Heishman of Independence, MO; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and seven stepchildren.
