Janet Kay Padgett 73, January 7, 1948 – January 12, 2021. She received her Wings to Heaven at Saint Luke’s Hospice House, January 12, 2021 with her daughter Tammy by her side. She was born January 7, 1948 in Richmond, MO to Ellis and Zelma (Horine) Clemens. Janet was married in 1976 to her loving husband Gary. She and her first husband Jim Williams operated the Mobil Station in Richmond, MO, owned her own beauty shop for several years and following that worked in the plastic molding industry for over 30 years. Cremation with no visitation or services scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents: Ellis and Zelma, her son Billy Wayne Williams and grandbaby Samuel Martin as well as her siblings: Jack Horine, Donald Horine, Helen Hays, Mary Thompson and Joan Sandy.
Janet is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Tammy Williams of Richmond, MO, Shelly (Williams) & Mike Martin of Desoto, KS, Step Son Terry (Nannette) Padgett of Richmond, MO, Step Daughter Mindy (Rodney) Gorham of Lawson, MO, Step Daughter Kimberly (Bill) McPherson of Orrick, MO, Brother Tom (Phyllis) Clemens of Kearney, MO, Brother Sam (Lynn) Clemens of Lake Waukomis, MO, Sister Lydia English of Arizona and Sister Bonnie (Paul) Davenport of Grandview, MO. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the doctors and nurses at Saint Luke’s East Hospital and Saint Luke’s Hospice House for the compassionate care given to her during her final days.
