Janet Lynn Johnson, 63, of Odessa, MO, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Independence, MO. Family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10th in New Salem Cemetery, Independence.
Janet was born March 13, 1956 in Independence, MO to John Earl & Delores Jean (Thompson) Johnson. Janet enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing computer games with the grandkids, going to garage sales and thrift stores. She loved her family and her dogs.
Janet is survived by her children: Jeremy Fruit (Marti) of Kansas City, MO, and Deanna Ervin (Robert) of Barry, IL; five grandchildren: Mariah Goodwin of Palmyra, MO, Brianna Ervin of Barry, IL, Hannah Kring of Overland Park, KS, Dylan Ervin of Barry, IL, and Sara Ervin of Barry, IL; one great-grandchild, Edgar Goodwin-Coffey of Palmyra, MO; four siblings: Larry Johnson, Debi Cerda, Karen McKinzie, and Robert Johnson, all of Independence; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
