Jay N. White, 51, of Wellington, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his home.
Jay was born December 27, 1964 in Chanute, Kansas, the son of Phillip J. ‘Joe’ and Judith K. (Newton) White. He retired from his job as an insurance adjuster in 2014. Jay was known by most as a jack-of-all-trades. There wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix, or find a way to keep running. Jay enjoyed working with his hands. Mostly he enjoyed helping others in any way he could.
Jay was preceded in death by his father, and his grandfather, Harry Newton. His survivors include his wife, Kristine White of the home; three sons: Brandon (Meghan) White of Wichita, KS, Bryce (Kelley) White of Lenexa, KS, and Hunter White of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Jaymie White of the home; three grandchildren: Madeline, Charlotte, and Isabelle; his mother & dad, Judith & Gene Riley of Forsyth, MO; sister, Dana Walenczyk; grandmother, Leona Newton; and aunt, Jan (Michael) Stropp, all of Springfield, MO; and aunt Jamie (Mike) Carpino of Lee’s Summit, MO.
