Jean Ann Jones, 84, of Buckner, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. with A Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Heart of God Fellowship, 3720 N Buckner Tarsney Rd, Buckner, MO. Jean was born July 22, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to John H. and Irene M. (Rockwell) Baack. She enjoyed the adventure of traveling. Jean volunteered at Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area for many years. Jean spent years raising Monarch Butterflies. She also enjoyed her Missouri Native Floral Garden. Jean was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Chi Omega Sorority for 21 years and served in the Eastern Star Organization for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Charles Jones; daughter, Dana Patton; and son, Patrick Jones

Jean is survived by two sons: Mikel (Karla) and David (Monica) both of Odessa, MO; sister, Janet Knapp; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
