Jessica Lynne Arellano (Morgan), 37, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023, at North Kansas City Hospital. Jessica was born on September 30, 1985, in Independence, MO, to the late Frank and Sheryl Morgan, and grew up in Grain Valley, MO.

Jessica leaves behind her husband Gabriel Arellano; daughter Sierra Arellano; son Nicholas Arellano; brother Justin Goddard; aunt Paula Plumlee; cousin Joshua (Kendra) Nasseri; cousin Elizabeth Nasseri; many other family members, and a close circle of good friends.

Jessica attended Matthews Elementary and Grain Valley High School, obtaining her Associate of Applied Science from Colorado Technical University. She managed several restaurants and stores, and later served as a private home health aide off and on for several years.

Jessica was usually the loudest person in the room, sassy and sarcastic. In her free time, Jessica enjoyed eating at restaurants, specifically shrimp rolls from Thailand Restaurant or a good burger, watching bad tv, ice from Sonic Drive-In, Pepsi, and was a devoted fan of her beloved KU Jayhawks.

Jessica’s life will be celebrated privately, and no services will be held. Any donations may be made directly to Jacque Arni on any platform to support the children of the Arellano family, for college or wherever life may take them.

Rest in peace, Jessica. You will be missed by all who knew you. You are home now.
