Jessie I. (Imogene) Clark
February 23, 1935 – February 11, 2022
Imogene Clark, 86, passed away on February 11, 2022 after a long illness. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO. Graveside services following at Buckner Hill cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the CMSA Foundation: www.cmsafoundation.org or Harbor Hospice, Lees’ Summit, MO.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Millard Clark; parents, Jess and Cora Clinton; sisters Ella Mae Phillips and Willene McCulloch and brother Floyd Tuell.
Imogene is survived by her daughter, Susie Ratterree and her husband Craig; grandchildren, Thomas (Cassidy) Ratterree, Kirsten (Chip) McNemee, her beloved great grandchildren, Gracie and Colton Ratterree, Peyton and Kady McNemee, her sister, Anna Bell Blevins, Tulsa, OK and many nieces and nephews.
Imogene was a project manager for the Independence Housing Authority for over 25 years and thoroughly enjoyed her job as she loved helping others. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, traveling to Indian Pow Wows and going to auctions. Much like her father, she enjoyed telling a good story and sharing a laugh. She will be greatly missed.
