Joe “Freddie” Alfred Diaz, 75, of Buckner, MO passed away December 14, 2022 surround by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Heart of God Fellowship 3720 N. Buckner Tarsney Rd., Buckner, MO 64016.
Joe Freddie was born February 20, 1947 in Eskridge, KS to Antancisco & Micela (Martinez) Diaz. He married Betty Marie Nix on August 20, 1969. Joe Freddie served his country in the United States Airforce. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Joe Freddie was an umpire for the USSA Softball league for many years. He liked to work on his old cars, trucks and tractors, buying them and selling them. Joe Freddie would talk to anyone; he never knew a stranger. He loved spending time with his family…Joe Freddie was a family man.
Joe Freddie was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Joe Freddie is survived by his wife Betty Marie; sons: Joe Diaz, II (Susan), Christopher Diaz (Kim), Frank Diaz (RaChelle), Thomas Diaz (Stacia); 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
