
John Edward Mansfield, 51, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at home from complications of kidney failure. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation at PKDcure.org.
John was born October 25, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a diesel mechanic most of his adult life. John was a loving, cherished member of his family and will be sorely missed by them and his loyal dog, Rocky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Mansfield Sr. John’s survivors include his mother, Gloria Lincicome of Oak Grove, MO; sister, Susan Drury of Higginsville, MO; two brothers: Rick Mansfield of Galena, MO, and Larry Mansfield Jr. of Oak Grove; two nieces: Miranda Fiene of Higginsville, and Kirsten Zinn of Grain Valley, MO; four nephews: Michael Drury of Corder, MO, Jeff Drury, Jacob Drury, and Joshua Drury, all of Higginsville; and three great-nieces: Renee Fiene, Natalie Fiene, and Maya Zinn.
