Justin Griffitt, age 35, passed away peacefully on 01/02/2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Missouri. Justin was welcomed into the world on July 17, 1990, by Michelle Griffitt and Sunny Griffitt in the city of Independence, Mo. He was a loyal resident and graduate of Grain Valley (Class of 2008).

Justin was very outgoing, sociable, and shared his humor generously with his contagious laugh. Justin always had the ability to make anyone smile. Justin also enjoyed fishing and playing video games with his only son, Cameron Griffitt, which was his biggest pride and joy.

He is survived by his son, Cameron Griffitt , his mother , Michelle Griffitt, his father and stepmother, Sunny & Lorie Griffitt, his 4 sisters , Ciara Monahan, Tiffany Wright, Skylar Frazier, and Addyson Griffitt, his cousin Kristin Bennett, his Grandparents Glenda Moreno, Gene Hefley & Sharon Kennedy ,Cindy & Arnold Swift, Mike & Cindy Griffitt, his aunts , Glenda Bennett and Suzy Griffitt, his uncles , Arron Hefley, Steve and Bowen Griffitt, and his only nephew, Sylas Wright.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the Royer Funeral Home. Located at 100 Royer Lane in Grain Valley, Mo. Services will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on 01/10/2026 to reminisce and honor the life of Justin Griffitt. He will be truly missed.
