Kara L. Foley


Kara Lynn Foley (Kling), 63, of Grain Valley, Missouri, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 surrounding by her loving family. Private family services will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO.

Kara was born October 23, 1954 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was raised in Gary, Indiana. She married the love of her life, James Foley and became a long time resident of Missouri and Illinois. She attended William H. Wirt High School (72). Kara loved life, loved cooking, gardening, and was a wonderful artist. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, and the Kansas City Royals. She loved her family dearly each and every one. She is preceded in death by her father, William H. Kling.

Survived by her loving husband of over 45 years, James A. Foley of Grain Valley; her mother, Frances Kling of Cumming, GA; one daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Forrester of Aurora, MO; two sons, Jimmy (Stacy) Foley of Lee’s Summit, MO and Michael Foley of Cassville, MO; five grandsons, Justin, Drew, Ashton, Cole and Tristen; one great-grandson, Jorah; four sisters, Debbie (Bobbie) Nagel of Estero, FL, Ellie Kling of Gary, IN, Jackie Kling of Cumming, GA and Kathryn (Chuck) Phipps of Cumming, GA; and numerous adoring nieces and nephews.
