Jeanie Small of Blue Springs, MO passed away at her home on November 24, 2016 surrounded by family. Jeanie was a devoted and beloved wife and mother. She was a homemaker who enjoyed primitive antiques, rug hooking, and flower gardening. Jeanie attended William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO. She adored her grandchildren. If you knew her, you knew them. She was very generous, giving, meticulous, strong, passionate, and courageous towards all she encountered. A star “Gram’s Star” has been named in her honor and memory. Jeanie was preceded by her parents, Charles and Wilma Hagerman and son, Kenny Jr.

Jeanie is survived by Kenneth L. Small of Blue Springs, MO who was her beloved husband and soul mate for 58 years, sister Sharon Darling and husband Joe of Spring Hill, FL, daughter Cindy King and Bryan of Raymore, MO, and son Kenny Small and wife Silvia of Blue Springs, MO. Jeanie treasured all of her extended family including 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as many lifelong friends.
