Katie Lynn McCormack McCulloch, 33, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City. Services will be held Thursday, June 23rd at Eastside Baptist Church, Independence, MO, with visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 24th in New Salem Cemetery, Independence. In lieu of flowers, contributions for her children may be made in care of Katie’s mother, Jacquelyn Chaffee.
Katie is survived by her parents, Larry and Jacquelyn Chaffee; her husband, Brandon McCulloch; her 4 children: Blake 14 yrs old, Cameron 12 yrs old, Alyssa 6 yrs old, and Lilly 4yrs old; her sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Chris Gifford; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry Phillip and Rachel Chaffee and their son, Zachary; her grandfather, Dwight Nichelson; along with 6 aunts, 4 uncles, 14 cousins, and other numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 grandmothers, 2 great-grandmothers, 2 grandfathers, 2 great-grandfathers, 2 uncles, and 5 cousins.
Katie touched so many lives and was a warm caring young woman and mother.
