Kolten James Aldridge, 17, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 – 5:30pm on Sunday, January 11th at Grain Valley Community Center, 713 Main Street, Grain Valley, MO.
Kolten was born on September 15, 2008, in Liberty, Missouri, the son of Lauro V. Valdez and Robin J. Aldridge. He was a student at Oak Grove High School. Kolten enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing Xbox, drawing, cars, and hanging out with his friends. He was a jokester and loved spending time with his family, especially his two nieces and nephew.
Kolten is survived by his mother, Robin Aldridge (Jason Fisher) of Oak Grove, MO; sister, McKayla Rykiel of Raytown, MO; brother, Kaden Valdez of Oak Grove; sister, Keaira Valdez of Grain Valley, MO; maternal grandparents, Ronald & Deborah Aldridge of Grain Valley; uncle and aunt, Larry & Jenny Elam of Wheatland, MO; uncle and aunt, Dave & Crystal James of Lawson, MO; aunt, Beth Aldridge of Windsor, MO; uncle and aunt, Travis & Jenny Aldridge of Liberty, MO; aunt, Katie Aldridge of Grain Valley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
