
Larry Keith Moore, 70, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at KU Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1st at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church for the youth building.
Larry was born November 29, 1946, in Oak Grove, Missouri, the son of Clyde C. and Maude B. (Gosney) Moore. He married Marsha L. Moore on September 18, 1977. He had owned and operated Larry’s Auto, and had also worked at Safeway, Firestone, and O’Reilly’s. Larry was a Councilman for Ward 3, a volunteer at the Fire Department, a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, and a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows #115, where he was a past Noble Grand. He was also a Deputy Grand Master for the state of Missouri in the Encampment.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Kenneth Moore.
His survivors include his wife, Marsha Moore of the home; four children: Kim Tunnell (Donnie) of Odessa, MO, Kenneth Moore of Independence, MO, Christine Mallett of Pleasant Hill, MO, and Robert Mallett (Aloha) of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren: Keith Katchmarik, Kameron Katchmarik, Jake Moore, Samantha Creason, Bobby Mallett, and Shaun Mallett; six great-grandchildren: Brayden, Makenzie, Kole, Brynn, Karsyn, and Wyatt; and one sister, Fay Southern of Blue Springs, MO.
