Lisa Lee Jones 50, of Kansas City, MO, passed away April 26, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday May 1, 2021 at Blue Hills Baptist Church 1805 Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO 64058. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
Lisa was born September 9, 1970 in Kansas City, MO to Franklin & Orpha (Vest) Detrie.
She married Walter Jones on January 25, 2002. Lisa enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing Bingo. She was a huge Prince fan. Lisa loved spending time with her family and especially spoiling her grandbabies.
Lisa was preceded in death by her biological mother: Susie Ann Bittle; brother: William Lynn Inman.
Lisa is survived by her husband Walter of the home; daughter: Megan Heryford (Dustin) of Blue Springs, MO; 2 stepdaughters: Mindy Jones of Gladstone, MO, Brandy Kirklin (Don) of Boliver, MO; 6 grandchildren: Madilyn Heryford, Wyatt Heryford, Alejandra Jones, Roza Vazquez-Jones, Alfonso Vazquez-Jones, Emma Kirklin; great-granddaughter: Genesis Jones; parents: Frank & Lee Detrie of Blue Springs, MO; 3 sisters: Cindy Connor (Mark) of Kansas City, MO, Anita Anderson (John) of Odessa, MO, Tonya Rockaway (Phil) of Independence, MO; brother: Anthony Inman of Kansas City, MO and several nieces and nephews.
