Lloyd “Punk” Austin Royer, 79, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside service will be 12:30pm Wednesday March 20th at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Lloyd was born December 7, 1933 in Bloomfield, NE to Austin J. & Dorothy (LaFarge) Royer. He married Naomi L. Roberts on November 21, 1953. Lloyd worked for General Motors Leeds plant as a forklift operator until his retirement in 1980. Lloyd was a member of the United Methodist Church of Oak Grove, and the UAW Union Local 93.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents: Austin & Dorothy Royer; 2 sons: David Royer and Mark Royer.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 59 years Naomi Royer of the home; 1 son: Jeffrey Royer and wife Beverly of Grain Valley, MO; 1 daughter: Theresa Nelson and husband Paul of Oak Grove, MO; 3 grandchildren: Courtney Nelson of Oak Grove; Emily Royer and Nicholas Royer both of Grain Valley, MO.
