Louella Watkins, 65, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Louella was born November 12, 1950 in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of Odell and Jean (Knighten) Clark. She was a seamstress. Louella enjoyed sewing, cooking, and shopping at thrift stores and garage sales. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Louella was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Regina Watkins in 1998; and six brothers: Gale Clark, Elgin Clark, Eugene Clark, Gerald Clark, Steve Clark, & Harold Clark.
She is survived by her daughter, Coy Cook (Durelle) of Raytown, MO; four grandchildren: Brandi Watson of Independence, Ciana Cook of Raytown, Durelle Cook Jr. of Raytown, Dez Cook of Raytown; seven sisters: Winnie Clark, Rose Mary Locke, Linda Jones, Joan Hunter, Charlotte Williams, Jeanette Johnson, & Debbie Walker; three brothers: Larry Clark, Bill Clark, Michael Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family & friends.
