Louis “Lucky” Francis Lux, 92, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20th 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Oak Grove, Missouri. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Louis was born January 24, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas, son of Nicholas J. and Ella C. (Vanhole) Lux. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from East High School in 1947. Louis was married to Naomi Ruth for 71 years. He received a 65 year machinist pin from the Machinist Union for many years of dedicated employment. Louis was a parishioner of St. Jude’s Catholic Church of Oak Grove for many years. He was also active in the Episcopal Church of Blue Springs with his wife.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters: Thelma and Patricia; sons: David and Randy; and daughter, Sherri.
Louis is survived by his wife Naomi Ruth; son, Mark (Sherrie) Lux; daughter, Claudia (Tom) Seigler; son, Larry (Julie) Lux; daughter, Denise (Arthur) Gallaway; sister, Eileen Pratt; brother, Charles Lux; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. With special gratitude to neighbors, Jerry and Joann.
