Lyle T. Bryson

Lyle Talmadge Bryson, 59, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born November 12, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Fred Wayne and Shirley Marie (Brown) Bryson.

Lyle was a concrete and drywall finisher for over 45 yrs.  He loved riding and building Harley Davidson motorcycles, and building trucks and fast cars. Lyle especially enjoyed his friends and family and telling stories. He was a great story teller. And he enjoyed his favorite bourbon and tequila.  Lyle played the guitar and was self-taught.  He enjoyed every genre of music and was fantastic at music trivia and any trivia. He had a beautiful singing voice whether it be fooling around or serious singing.

His greatest pleasure at the end was building and buying go-carts for his granddaughters, who he loved and adored.  His legacy will live on as one of the toughest guys you could have ever met, the strength he had, and the biggest giving heart.  Lyle was an organ donor and was still giving to help others when he took his final breath. Lyle is riding with the angels.  He will forever be in our hearts.

Lyle was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie “Fritz” Wayne Bryson Jr. and step-grandson, Nicholas Brownell.  He is survived by his domestic partner, Terry Kincaid; son, Zachery Bryson (Hallie); two sisters, Pamela Bowens and Michelle Lilly; seven stepchildren: Bobby Brownell (Veronica), Rollin Brownell, Teyonia Ross (Eric), Jamie Kincaid, Buddy Lee Kincaid, Destiny Kincaid (Cody), and Clint Kincaid (Sami); three nieces: Shirley Borchardt, Riley Renno (Chris), and Jamie Abner (Tim); nephew, Keith Lilly Jr. (Kaitlin); twenty grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nine great-nieces and nephews; two wonderful employees, Jake McCade and Pugs McCade; and his furry companion, Neilson Speilson.

Lyle leaves behind many friends and relatives and is riding in Heaven with the angels.  There will be a Celebration of Lyle’s life from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th at Two Crazy Ladies Café in Slater, MO.  Please plan on coming to share stories about Lyle and make some new memories.  We will enjoy a lasting toast of bourbon and tequila – a last request from Lyle.  As we come together to close this chapter, Lyle’s new journey will begin…
