My protector when I was a bratty kid picking fights with older neighborhood kids, my guardian in my teenage years when I started bringing boys around. He self-proclaimed being the ‘black sheep’ of the family back in his hay days, before he settled down – I would always tell him that I would be next in line for that title. 😂 (I’m too mellow these days) but I will always be grateful for the amount of love he had for all his family.
