Marsha Rae Berg, 85, of Independence, MO, formerly of Oak Grove, MO, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
Marsha was born February 18, 1937, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Robert B. and Mildred M. (Loynachan) Stittsworth. She was a bookkeeper for a roofing company. Marsha lived in Adel, Iowa for most of her childhood and early adult years. She graduated from Adel High School and had very fond memories of family and friends. She loved her church, reading her Bible, traveling, spending time with family and her grandkids, and attending their activities.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Moschner; and brother, Tad Stittsworth.
Her survivors include her husband, Ken Berg of the home; six children: Rex Pearson (Becky) of Blue Springs, MO, Linda Fornicola (Angelo) of Adel, IA, Pam Hsu (Geoff) of San Diego, CA, Marci Haro (Miguel) of Independence, MO, Joel Berg (Annette) of Independence, and Craig Berg (Chrissy) of Blue Springs, MO; eighteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
