Martha “Marti” Jane Dancer, 81, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society: www.cancer.org

Marti was born October 24, 1942 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. The daughter of George Lile and Kathern Mable (Freeman) Hinkle. Marti and Robert were married October 1, 1984 She served in the Veteran of Women’s Army Corp, Army Reserves as a Supply Sargant. Marti enjoyed doll collecting, crafting and traveling. She liked to dance and take photo’s as well. She was very outgoing and never knew a stranger and talked to anyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernest Hinkle’ sisters: Nancy Brown, Doris Hinkle, Karen Lewandoski and Terry Cozart; daughter, Cynthia Chazev; and brother-in-law, Louis Dancer.

Marti is survived by her husband, of the home; son, Aaron Martin (Amanda) of Hendersonville TN; daughter, Robin Dancer of Payson, AZ; son, Christopher Dancer (Rachel) of Grain Valley, MO; Matthew Dancer of Phoenix AZ; numerous grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Stewart of New Brighton PA, Georgenia Jones (Douglas) of New Brighton, PA, Estelle Hinkle of New Brighton, PA; brother, Larry Hinkle (Marrianne) of Mims, FL; sister in-law, Betty Wilvers of Salina KS; and many nieces and nephews.
